The
Fey are often considered a bit "mad" (well, most elves
are so considered) and like pixies seem to have no fear of danger. However,
the Fey tend to be less "sporty" than the pixies and do not
court danger for the thrill of it but rather because their goals and beliefs
lead them to it. They always have a mission and purpose to what they do.
These are perhaps the most serious of elves and are utterly devoted and
dedicated to whatever vision guides them.
Modern Fey have changed little from their ancient natures. These folks
are the least likely to even bother calling thems'elves elfin, since such
cultural trappings are seldom important to them. The only thing that matters
in their mind is the "action" they are currently involved in...
to help, alter, save or transform the world of some part of it.
These folks tend to be so fanatical at times that we suspect they may
have evolved from elves who were raped by viking beserkers. They are consumed
with "the world" but because their motives are pure and their
principles sound and their desire to "help" so genuine, we cannot
help but embrace them.
