Unicorns are holy and sacred beings having the same primal power as the Dragons but without the temptation to abuse it nor the directive to organize and stimulate evolution. They have always been a symbol of purity and use their powers to heal those who have been oppressed and abused and to bless the deserving.

These days the Unicorns are most often found in the guise of prophets and holy people. Ghandi was surely one, as was Mother Teresa. Whereas dragons tend to be wyzards, sorcerers and, of course, politicians and business executives. What distinguishes the Unicorns is their utter disinterest in affecting the world at large and their deep and abiding concern for the welfare and development of the lives of the individual human though which the world is shaped.

The Unicorns are nearly always kind and caring and also most often quiet and contemplative. But not in a reclusive fashion. For they prefer to act directly but quietly to heal the wounds of the individual soul.
