the way of the mage

The Way of the Mage

is the manipulator of the personality. Mage is a title blended from the words for magician and sage indicating in that fashion that the mage is an advanced or wiser magician. To be considered an Elfin Mage one must be working with the higher/more subtle magics and doing so in a fashion that is clearly beyond the petty concerns of power and acquisition in the world of matter and men. A magician might well do magics to draw to their s'elf a relationship for personal fulfillment and satisfaction but the mage would do that same magic to draw to thems'elf those that can further us all in our pursuit and quest to find or found Elfin on Earth.

The Mages are particularly noted for acting in concert with the elemental spirits that inhabit and share this wonderous planet with us, releasing magics that will increase the overall awareness and consciousness of all Being and beings on this planetary sphere. For the mages by their nature are not only advanced and wiser magicians but by that very fact they promote that wisdom in others.

The mage often acts in secret, helping and nurturing others with such subtle magic that those so helped do not realize the source of their good fortune. That these individuals never know who blessed them never concerns the mage who is aware that all their magics will eventually return to their source amplified by the benefits and changes they have accrued. The mage seldom acts for just the moment. Unlike the magicians who often concentrate on creating immediate transformation in the material planes of being, the mage acts ever with the future in mind setting in motion energies whose fulfillment may not be realized for years, centuries or even aeons.

Seeing beyond a particular lifetime, the mage views individuals by the direction and progress of their evolutionary trend and how that tendency concurs with or differs from the overall life of a people and culture. To the mage the elves are not merely a collectivity of individuals but are in their unity one being that is the energetic life of Elfin. It is through the elves that Elfin reaches toward fulfillment of its own intelligence and conscious being.

The Challenge: the question is?

Some day a generation will be born who will shed their clothes and walk naked through the cities of the world. They will refuse to kill each other to protect the commercial interests of the greedy and they will proclaim and the live the philosophy that love, sharing and caring are the values that are truly important in live.

The question is... how to get there from here? Ancient elfin mages set forces in motion ages ago that are weaving toward the fulfillment of this vision. The modern elfin mages continue to nurture the magic as it unfolds. Do you have a vision for our people? Can you see us joyous and together? Elfin manifest on Earth and in Space? And do you act upon this vision, set magics in motion that will be fulfilled lifetimes still to come? If so then you may count yours'elf among the Elfin Mages.
