the way of the visionary

The Way of the Visionary

is the path of the seer into future possibilities. The Elfin Visionary looks into the future for our people using their perceptive and imaginative faculties to project ideas, philosophies and visions of how things will or could be in the future... the fashions that may come into vogue, the inventions that may come to pass, the powers we may develop through effort and evolution. Quite often these visionaries are called fantasy or science fiction novelists but they can, in fact, offer their visions in a variety of ways.

While their visions don't always come into being the visionary none the less stimulates us to ponder the possibilities and from these often come the inspiration for all which really comes to be. Their power ultimately is not a form of fortune telling, as it might seem, they are not really predicting the future but proposing it and projecting the lines upon which we might find our way to better things or avoid potential dangers which might develop from the tendencies of the present.

The Elfin Visionaries are in a certain fashion interpreters for they receive impressions of the Divine aspects of life and intuit the general principles of transformation that are approaching in any current era in the evolution of our Elven peoples. They translate these basic energy tendencies into projected practicalities for it is up to us and our own nature to actualize or formalize these Divine impulses.

The nature of Elfin and the elves has a huge strain of freedom and a touch of wildness in it. How Elfin manifests and how we elfin manifest it is largely up to us. The basic underlying principles of love and kindness, courtesy and evolving consciouness with a large dose of mystery and magic runs to our very core but can be revealed within our individual being in myriad ways. The Elfin Visionary helps inspire us not by giving us definite predictions but rather intuitions of what could be. They encourage us to still ours'elves inwardly so that we might awaken our souls whose elfin nature will blossom forth in its own fashion. The Elfin Visionary is the gardener, watering and fertilizing the flora of our elfin natures yet the flowers of our souls will find their own way to grow and become what inwardly we've always wished to be. For in the long run we wish to be what we truly are. We are seeking our own true s'elves and it is the magical power of the Elfin Visionary, their talent and their skill to help us discover what that truly is. They evoke our visions by the sharing of their own.

The Challenge: the question is?

Can you see it? Shimmering on the hillside, radiant, glorious, beautiful beyond description? Come with us into the trees and let us share with you the magic that abides there. Can you hear the music? Enchanting, it has captured our souls and we are most willing. It calls to us. There's a gathering deeper in the forest... we see others on their way to it and glowing lights in radiant greens and golds and blues are appearing all about us. The deeper we go the more do appear, dressed for a party, lace and velvet, silk, satin and shimmer nearly everywhere. They greet us, some embrace us, others welcome us home. Ah, someone called our names. We glance about. They're gorgeous. What are you waiting for? Come on.
