Yet rites, rituals and ceremonies are only symbols for recognizing a transition and elevation of the Spirit. The true initiation is the result of real experience, effort and devotion. Rather like a medal given to a soldier for heroism, the metal is merely a recognition of the act of heroism which is the true initiatory event.

One might think that the elfin initiator does something to those they initiate, yet the truth is that most often the effect they have on others is simply a subsidiary aspect to the actual effort which is the creative initiation of events. The elfin initiator is a doer, they set things in motion by the authority of their own inner being. That others are deeply effected by their actions and thus "initiated" is merely a consequence of their activity. The initiator, initiates action which when in motion creates effects, not the less of which is the experiential expanding and awakening of our own lives.

To say the least an elfin initiate must be a being of great confidence and daring. They are s'elf directed. They seek not outer authority for permission for what they do but act from an inner directive and necessity. Yet this does not mean they do whatever they want. That is the furtherest from Reality. They do what they instinctively know to be right for all concerned and they do this naturally, without forethought, because they are in harmony with Nature both inwardly and outwardly.

The Elfin Initiator sets forces in motion... not haphazardly, not upon a whim just to see what will happen but purposely and thus magically. They get other people started. They introduce people to each other and to things that will further their life and consciousness. Do you do that?
