These days the Unicorns are most often found in the guise of prophets
and holy people. Ghandi was surely one, as was Mother Teresa. Whereas
dragons tend to be wyzards, sorcerers and, of course, politicians and
business executives. What distinguishes the Unicorns is their utter disinterest
in affecting the world at large and their deep and abiding concern for
the welfare and development of the lives of the individual human though
which the world is shaped.
The Unicorns are nearly always kind and caring and also most often quiet
and contemplative. But not in a reclusive fashion. For they prefer to
act directly but quietly to heal the wounds of the individual soul.
