Little People

There are two basic ways of viewing the Little People and they are both accurate and of value. First, they are called Little People or the Wee Folk because they are indeed small in stature. Although, seldom as small as many imagine them or at least not so anymore. These days they tend to be four to five feet or so, but not much more usually. They are, indeed, short elves. Tales that write that elves are either very tall or very small are both inaccurate, for the most part, which is not to say that these extremes never occur. We, in fact, know an elf who is over 7 feet tall.

The other aspect of the Little Folk is that we elfin, even when we have attained great success in the material world, always consider ours'elves on the side of the underdog, the disadvantaged, the humble and the poor. In a certain sense, we are down home folk, natural, without airs and easy to be around. What you see is not entirely what you get; because there is always more and deeper to Faerie. But what you see is real and genuine and not fake or put on. We are ever and always ours'elves.
